The Upgrd Podcast episode 63 is now online with a full crew in attendance. Mike, Matt, Matthew, Josh, Ben, Gary, Fozz, and Hunter discussed:

  • The Continental and United airlines merger and proposed livery
  • The recent Continental announcement allowing upgrades on award tickets for credit card holders
  • Our "Your Hometown, Your Airline" segment is back - this time focusing on New York City
  • Matt has an editorial on fortress airline hubs. Is his defnition correct?  If so, do these need to be treated as monopolies?

I'm so glad you guys are back. I was a little worried.

Once every other week? Can't you guys get 3+ of you together weekly? The news in the FF world is going too fast for twice a month shows. :-(

Also, is there a way to get Upgrd "unedited"? Since the wait between episodes is longer, can't we get the content that you guys decided to chop out to listen to between episodes?

@Reid, I wish it were that easy. Perhaps you can help us find a show sponsor so we can hire an intern? ;)
