I have wrapped food in foil and cooked on the car engine manifold on long trips, so you have an instant picknic on arrival.

Gross... Whats next the old pantyhose in the coffee machine trick? Some tricks just need to be left secret due to germs...Just because you can do them, does not mean you should!

When I want to be cheap I take bread, PB, and jelly from the free breakfast for a later snack. They usually have little butter pats, but rarely any cheese so you'd still have to buy "cheese" and foil unless you had an opportunity to steal "cheese" from a delta sky club. so: delta sky club "cheese" + free bread + free country crock = only paying for the foil.
