The Trip Sherpa
The web is full of travel experts, and I am a little different breed of travel expert than the rest. I am 28 and just finished a six month sabbatical in Thailand. I don’t have a job that has taken me all over the world, buthave still managed to see 34 countires on 6 continents. I am on a mission to show the average traveler how affordable it can be to see the world without having to sacrifice sensible comforts.
While I will post about good offers you may want to pursue, my direction is a little different than the rest. I want to see as much of the earth as possible, and without a travel based job that would allow me to rack up hundreds of thousands of miles to spend, I have to be a little creative.
I think it’s best if I just come out and say it. I fly RyanAir from time to time. I like first class as much as the rest of you, but it’s just too hard for me to pass up $30 roundtrip tickets to a new country. I also fly EasyJet, AirAsia, I’d even fly Spirit if it made financial sense (though it often doesn’t).
My goal is to enable the readers of my book (pending release), and this Blog the ability to see as much of the world as I have for as little cost in both money and convenience as they are able.
