How did Sara get upgraded as a non-rev? Did that airline already upgrade all of its Elite fliers and STILL had open seats in first? Don't get me wrong I'm happy for Sara, but as a frequent flier I can tell you that it drives us NUTS when non-revs get upgrade over frequent fliers.

Hi Atif, I can tell you that "my" airline has an extremely liberal upgrade program for our elite members so believe me there weren't any other eligible upgrades when they gave me the seat and it doesn't happen that often which is why I was surprised.

That being said, I have to pick on you a little bit because if you read your opening question I have to say you sound a bit like my three year old..."How come Johnny gets the window seat?! I waaant the window seat!!!!" lol...lol...lol;-)

Three year old...Frequent Flier...about the same, I blame all the radiation we get at 30K feet! At least I didn't use the DYKWIA card! LOL! BTW the not wearing heal to protect BobbyLaurie's (all one word) ego was nice of you! Check out this entry in Mary Kirby's blog for flight global:

Maybe BobbyLaurie (all one word!) can borrow his box! LOL

What happened to your podcast schedule. It used to be posted every Saturday once a week, now it's getting posted less and whenever.

This is going the route of the Upgrde podcast. It used to be a regular show and now is very infrequent and has dropped off quite a bit.
