Northwest Airlines NWA bag tag - collectors item?

I ordered a Northwest luggage tag after reading Gary's post as a memento before the airline disappears. As I have no particular affiliation to NW and I foolishly printed my own name (instead of something generic I could sell on ebay!) what should I do with it? Should I keep it pristine in the drawer or use it today on my flight since my (also defunct) Ansett bag tag is wearing thin?

Those are cool. I would hang on to them.

I'm glad I did the status match to NW Plat last fall--I've got two years of personalized NWA luggage tags that will be a nice memento of the airline. I've also got some old Northwest Orient kiddie wings.

Sad that we have lost legacy airlines including Northwest, Pan Am, Eastern, Western, and TWA all in my lifetime. But out with the old, in with the new, eh? At least we still have United and American...for now.

@Matthew: Nice indirect jab. Delta isn't a legacy anymore?
