Behind the Scenes at the Southwest Airlines Emergency Slide Shop

It's not too often that we talk about Southwest Airlines on UPGRD, though their recent series of behind the scenes videos are certainly worth checking out.

In this episode, Southwest shows all of the tests that must be performed on a slide before it is packed up and attached to the aircraft. Before seeing the video, I was unaware of the fact each slide is leak checked for five hours, before being repacked by hand.

The Updated Marriott Rewards Visa Signature Card
