United Goes Cheap: First Class Hot Nuts in Dixie Cups

Really, United? A cheap little paper cup for my hot nuts?

I hope this was a simple error in stocking the flight, rather than a foreshadowing of more of Jeff Smisek's changes that he "thinks we'll like."

that's weak! What route was it? My only hot nuts experience since 3/3 had a porcelain ramekin containing only cashews. I certainly hope the paper cups are just a catering error.

Careful, if that ever becomes standard it will be COdbaUAdbaUS ;-)

I mean, you really care what cups your nuts are servred in?

@Ben, I do, but I'd rather have hot mixed nuts in a paper cup then cold cashews (like I got last time as well) in a porcelain ramekin.

My last three flights the nuts have been delivered in a wine glass! How classy!!!

WIne glass, dixie cups, I can't remember a domesitc flight on Delta with hot nuts! THink you're still better off!

That's obviously a catering screw-up.

That looks like something they grabbed from the food court!

I think it is a good idea to offer nuts. They are quite healthy :)
