Upgrd 37: First Class Mail Bag

In this week's frequent flyer discussion we answer some viewer mail and cover some recent news. Unfortunately when we recorded last week, Continental's new redemption award chart had not yet been released, so some of our commentary is stale already. Outside of this we discussed:

Remember to take advantage of discounted festival passes for the San Diego Film Festival. We will be recording live on September 26th with more details to be posted on our Facebook page.  Also, follow us on twitter.

Also, regarding the American Airlines challenge or any flights that you are looking for a good fare in specific class across an entire month you can use this syntax for the fare class search on itasoftware :

sfo::aa+ / f bc=V

This means a flight from JFK, on one or more American Airlines flight, in booking class V. This comes in handy when using the month long search tool as you can search a wide range of the 90 days you have for your challenge on AA.
