Today was a busy day for Low Cost Carrier's Frequent Flyer programs in the United States with both Virgin America and JetBlue announcing new loyalty perks for frequent flyers. Vx announced Elevate Silver and Gold and B6 announced the launch of TrueBlue Mosaic.

So we've all been wondering who would be awarded the new flights from DCA to the beyond perimeters cities, and today, the long awaited slots have been awarded (back story here). Delta will be flying Salt Lake City to DC, United: San Fran to DC, US Airways: San Diego to DC, and American: LAX to DC. However those were a gimmie. The new airlines that were awarded slots by the DOT are:
