I am not going to post a full-fledged review or even include pictures because it was just an airport hotel, after all, but after my stay at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport hotel Thursday night, I have a few observations.

Here is a first look inside the Hilton Frankfurt Airport (FRA) in Germany. This hotel opened on Dec 20 2011, and still has the new hotel smell.

As I first reported on back in Aug, Hilton Worldwide is set to opens two hotels this December in the iconic and futuristic THE SQUAIRE at Frankfurt Airport, two of its hotel brands will stand next to each other in this new development. Random promo that was pointed out to me earlier today... If you have a Signature VISA Card, you can get temporary HHonors Gold status through August. After getting the temporary status, if you stay three nights between now and the end of August, then your status is extended until March 2013. This Signature card does NOT need to be a Hilton card. I just tried it with my Marriott card, and it worked like a charm.

It's a pretty sweet deal. And while it doesn't say anything about this in the promotion, my friend (a HHonors Diamond) tried to do the promo, and boom - 5000 HHonors points magically showed up in his account. So it looks like if you already have HHonors Gold or better, they'll hook you up with some points as a consolation prize. Give it a shot and report back!

The next Hilton Promo is just ok, you will get 1,000 bonus per night. If you have a good deal of nights between April 1 and June 30 this could add up for you.. There is also no limit. You need to register for this promotion. You can do that here.
