After reading a blog over on Gadling.com: Cockpit Chronicles, "Food in the Cockpit, How it's Prepared", it got me thinking of my travels and some of the great food selections I have enjoyed when traveling in First Class as a passenger.

I believe I got the idea of taking a few pics of my food from AirlineMeals.net. It's a site where people like you and me can send photos to be added, by class of service, airline, and route. Either way, I started taking pics of some of my travels over ...

Being primarily a short haul flyer, even when the upgrades clear, a meal is not something to expect.  Usually if there is anything offered, it is an item from a snack basket, and that is it.  Anything more substantial is a surprise.  Especially since my flights are always labeled as snack for first class.  The flight from ATL-IAH was no exception, especially since they had downgraded it to the 737-500 from the -700.  And I was surprised when taking drink orders that I ...

Lufthansa First Class Terminal 01

For the all times it has been mentioned on Live and Let's Fly and on the UPGRD Network, I realized that I have never written a post describing the First Class Terminal experience in Frankfurt. After a rather amusing incident that happened to me in "the Terminal" yesterday, I want to set up that story by providing a photo tour of the lounge.

Access to the Terminal is only granted to Lufthansa and Swiss First Class passengers and HON Circle members ...

Incheon Airport_01

Just two blocks away from the Park Hyatt in Seoul was a bus station with coaches going to either Incheon or Gimpo Airports. The wait for a bus was only two minutes and we were soon our way to the Incheon International Airport—one of the classiest airports I have ever flown out of. Even with no traffic in the early afternoon, it still took about 40 minutes to get to the airport, but we allowed plenty of time.

Dropped off in front of the impressive Main Terminal, we found the Star ...
