Air France-KLM Flying Blue Frequent Flyer Program announced a NEW Elite level benefit today trying to increase loyalty and increase membership across the board. Barrowing from Delta’s Skymiles program, Elite members who at least obtain Silver level status will be able to roll over addition elite qualify miles to the next calendar year, giving them an Elite boost the next qualification year.

As much as I LOVE flying Virgin America, I rarely do because my points are somewhat useless and their route network is too small for my likings. However, despite this, my largest grib with Vx has always been their lack of an elite program for their loyal frequent flyers. I'm a huge fan of Virgin America. I think the airline makes a lot of sense for infrequent travelers. You're not competing with status-holding members, and you get Wi-Fi, in-seat entertainment, and some of the best food / drink options in coach. Happy New Year!: Many United 1Ks were greeted with the following in the new year:
