Having just returned from China two days prior, on Monday evening, I was enroute back to the West Coast of the US for some meetings – and client entertainment.

Like usual, I cut it close enroute to the airport.  I’ve only missed a flight once (and that was due to the car service cancelling on me)…I’ve been the last guy to board a trans-Atlantic flight (last to board because I had just arrived at the airport) more than once...but never missed a flight due ...

I've thought all along that giving people a taste of in-flight Internet service is the best way to sell it to them. The industry king, Gogo Inflight Internet, has had occasional freebie promotions, including free Wi-Fi sponsored by Google for the 2010 holiday season, but the service was just plain free for several weeks. Or, free access to Twitter, and only Twitter. This time, it's 15 free minutes of full Gogo service on every Delta flight through the end of June.

I usually find my self displeased with the quality of meals on domestic first class flights - on Delta or other US-based carriers.  Scorched pastas, chicken drenched in sauce and substances marketed as beef are regrettably the norm these days.

Recently on a flight from JFK to LAX I found myself in economy. As my status with Delta has dropped in recent months, I am finding myself in the back of the bus more and more. Honestly I’m fine with this. After all you get wait you pay for. 

So on this flight form JFK to LAX I found myself incredibly hungry. Not wanting to opt for any of Delta’s Overpriced under seasoned cold cuts or cheese and fruit plates I decide to try out their $6 flight Delight Box. I requested ...
