A few weeks ago, I wrote a blog post about new global airline liveries, logos and paint scheme redesigns over the past year, and assessed the good and not-so-good appearances which have been adopted and applied.

Recently, I stumbled across a thread on airliners.net titled, "Air China's Extremely Outdated Livery" which really got me thinking about how there is a pretty extensive list of global carriers out there who could use with a bit o' touch-up paint jobs.  Or, just need ...

Earlier this year, I departed on a mileage run from San Diego to Hawaii to New York and back again with American Airlines. Although the flights didn’t stand out as anything extraordinary and I never wrote an actual trip report since it was all domestic flying, there was one incident that really stood out above the rest. Yet after being dragged off the aircraft singing "I will always love you," ...

With the impending merger of US Airways and American, I'd speculate that the new combined airline will move to US' larger terminal and abandon American's older terminal. That means the recently renovated Admirals Club probably has only one more year of service.

Along the windows are the typical club seats that you'd find at any Admirals Club. The unique part of the renovation added a larger open space in the middle of the lounge along with a revamped bar ...
