What could I possibly be talking about?

Maybe the back row isn't so bad if it's on the top floor of an A380 in Lufthansa Business Class on a 10+ hour flight from FRA-SFO. It's even better when traveling on a non-upgradable Economy Class fare, and all of a sudden, the gate agent angel forgets to look at your fare class, takes your soon-expiring UA paper SWUs, processes the upgrades for you and your fiancé, and puts you in Business Class five ...

My cousin, a Swiss native, is getting married in September so we're off to Switzerland for his wedding! We used the trip as a great excuse to do a bit of traveling around Europe so I thought I would post the itinerary here. I will report back with trip reports after the trip.

My girlfriend and I are flying on United non-stop SFO-LHR and connecting there to an SAS flight to ARN. The tickets are W revenue fares, and we are on the same PNR. I booked ...

I have been out of town for about three weeks so I haven't had time to notice any changes at my local airport. However, this morning after I landed, and while I waited for my Fast Track parking bus, I noticed these new flags in the area. Looks like Air France has brought the A380 to SFO.

Great! I've enjoyed watching the big Lufthansa drive around the tarmac, and I'll actually be flying it this Fall (more on that in a future post). Now we have another option for those who want to fly in the newest and largest plane around.

I didn't see the plane at SFO this morning, but according to press material, this bird has already started flying as of June 6. Looks like this plane will stop flying to SFO as of September 4, though. So it's only here for the summer season.

An Airbus A380 operated by Air France hit a Delta Air Lines (Comair) CRJ700 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International airport, spinning the smaller plane and its occupants 90 degrees. Here is the video!

Here is the ATC recording:

None of the 520 people on AF A380 or the 66 on the CRJ700 were hurt. The A380 was unable to fly to Paris and is now immobilized.

The video is just crazy how the A380 just moved the CRJ700 like ...

About a year ago I was able to book two 1st class rewards on Lufthansa with my UNITED miles; shockingly on the A380. This was just days before LH zeroed out all the reward seats in First on the A380. I was shocked that I was able to score these seats. I went a long time before telling anyone, I had a feeling that somehow I would brag too much and LH or UA would take these seats away. I did have some Dreams Nightmares of my A380 First class seats going away..

Well about 3 weeks ago I ...
