This is a pretty cool video I was able to snap with my iPhone 3GS, flying from SFO to ORD on United a few weeks ago. Beautiful sunset with a perfect layer of clouds. Even cooler was seeing other planes in the distance surfing right along the tops of clouds like us! I didn’t catch that on video, unfortunately. Enjoy!

I'm consistently underwhelmed by AA's usage of technological tools to engage with customers. Their twitter and blogosphere presence is virtually nonexistent (with the exception of @AdmiralsClub). Though I find it extremely useful, their website isn't all that eye-popping or user-friendly. And they don't offer a ton of online tools for, well, anything.

Google, in partnership with Boingo Wireless, Advanced Wireless Group and others is providing free internet access at 47 airports now through January 15, 2010.  This is in addition to the free wifi that Google is offering on Virgin America flights.

Q. How do I sign up for complimentary WiFi?

No login or email is required, simply select the option for the complimentary WiFi and accept the terms of service.

After an epic fail of a weekend, I have a few thoughts for you.   Note to self, if you're going to keep working long jobs in Atlanta, make some decent friends.  Not cool to have no parties to go to on the sluttiest holiday of the year.  Not cool at all.
