bmi-diamond-club-buy-miles-award-redemption-01

With just under two weeks left to redeem Diamond Club miles for Star Alliance flights, bmi has sweetened the incentive to burn your points now with a 20% bonus on purchased miles. If you are just short of another award (like I was), take advantage of this offer. The miles posted in about six hours for me.

Next week I will do a final post on maximizing Star Alliance award redemptions on bmi, but for now let me share with you what I booked ...

What began at a small office near Los Angeles International Airport in 1997 as a union between five airlines hoping to better cooperate has become a global force to be reckoned with; the leading alliance with 27 airlines from around the world.

LH had flights to/from Berlin to London, and FRA to Birmingham also op’ed ...

It's 6:00a here in Philadelphia and I still haven't gone to bed yet--I've spent the last three hours on the phone with British Midland International's Diamond Club award redemption center. My goal: burn my remaining miles in a cost-effective manner. So far, so good.

But that's not the point of this post. I've confirmed now with three Diamond Club agents in the UK that today is the last day to burn miles for any Lufthansa group carrier using bmi miles, but NOT the last day to redeem on ...
