My travels took me to Bermuda last weekend, thanks to a very low Delta Air Lines fare from Newark. Despite holding Delta Platinum status for a year (I have no status anymore with Delta), it was also my first time flying through Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport—back then I connected in Salt Lake City or Minneapolis only. I'm writing this post on my MacBook Air from the tarmac in Oakland. We're plopped in one of Delta's finest CRJ200 regional jets. That's sarcasm, if you couldn't tell.

I had to see it to believe it.  I landed at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson last week and as we approached the gate a Porsche SUV was at the adjacent aircraft.  A Delta agent quickly escorted a man in a business suit down the jet bridge stairway into the Porsche.  It happened so quickly the only thing I could confirm was that the man wasn’t Richard Anderson (Delta CEO).  I figured this was the only reasonable explanation for a luxury car whisking away someone ...
