Want to know how I made 30K free money each year? It is easier than you think!

I have always been interested in investing, but don’t have the time to monitor the market daily, I have a blog to write. I became aware of www.eztracker401k.com in 2001. They work with multiple airlines 401k and do the research to help you maximize your 401k earnings. The annual fee ranges from $64.95 to $84.95, depending on which airline you work for. Southwest Airlines announced they'd be celebrating their 40th anniversary by offering free downloads of a 40-song playlist from the iTunes Store through July 31st. Sadly, while they handed out promo codes with a "use by" date, they left out the detail that there was a limit to the total number of code redemptions allowed.

"We had an allotted number of codes to download, and the offer was so popular, they were all redeemed in less than a week," a Southwest spokesperson told the Associated Press. The company isn't saying the total number of downloads they'd arranged with Apple, just that it was "in the six figures."

If you got a promo code from Southwest and you thought you had two months to redeem it, turns out you were wrong! Did you get stuck with a worthless promo code and nothing to listen to?

The title of this post is an old saying when undesirables move into the neighborhood.  In this particular case, it is referring to the entry of Southwest airlines into Newark.

For years, Newark has avoided the mass of low cost carriers and thus keeping a higher caliber of travelers through it.  Whereas take the caliber of the Southwest population enmasse and you'll see a large difference.

First, people belive that Southwest brings low prices.  ...

When news broke that Southwest and AirTran would be merging, I opined that the long-term ramifications would not be beneficial to consumers. I stand by that analysis and it seems that Delta's CEO Richard Anderson agrees. At Delta's third-quarter earnings call last week, Anderson played down the potential of a "Southwest Effect" at ATL, stating:

"AirTran had first class, they had assigned seats, and Southwest has no first class, no assigned seats, doesn’t ...
