Note: Sorry this is one day late. I hate some issues with finding a wi-fi connection in Algecias, Spain last night. I am currently sitting in a train station in Tangier, Morocco waiting for my overnight train to Marrakech.

A new year and a new decade is upon us and it is fitting that I lay out my travel goals for 2010 on this first day of the year.

I've often times defended the Delta website - my bad.

Let me lay out the scenario for you:

I need to see a client in San Diego for 1 day during the week of December 6th, and I just found that out.  Since I just got ass-fucked on paying two B fares for a separate trip, I figured I would try my luck.  I used the following as my search criteria:

I sadly announce this evening that United has pulled the "fare of fares" between Ontario and Tampa.

If you're up at this late hour, you might want to take advantage of Continental's IAD-SFO r/t fare for $105-115 including taxes--this deal will probably be gone by morning.

Codeshares on United available if you route through Chicago or Denver. For maximum mileage, route through Newark.

The rate is good for some dates in December and from the second week in January through EOS (end of schedule). Book it at continental.com.

I've never seen a transcon fare this cheap!
