US Airways is offering ten minutes of free Gogo Wi-Fi by entering promo code USFREE10. Gogo is available exclusively on US Airways' A321 aircraft and standard rates run from $4.95, depending on the type of device you have and flight length.

10 minutes is almost enough time to log-in and check a few e-mails! But still better than zero minutes...

It would have come in handy on my last US Airways flight.

I still wonder sometimes why I put myself through such torture, but it always seems to work out in the end...

A great brouhaha is going on right now in the City of Brotherly Love over the proposed expansion of Philadelphia International Airport. Not surprisingly, US Airways (which currently holds a dominant position in Philadelphia) wants to keep it that way and opposes expansion.

Delayed US Airways flight

Last night I ran into a three-hour mechanical delay on a US Airways flight from Columbia, SC to Philadelphia. Most passengers were transported to their final destination via Washington National or Charlotte, so there when the flight finally departed, only eight passengers remained.

Foul weather and a delayed Continental Airlines flight gave me the opportunity to sample US Airways yesterday from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. While I won't be defecting to US Airways anytime soon, the experience wasn't half-bad.
