Congratulations to Aer Lingus, for Taking 42 Days to Answer an Email

I wrote about Aer Lingus a while back, and a baggage issue that I had when I connected from DUB to MUC.  Do I deserve the money back for the bag that I paid for, but didn't check, because DL interlined the bag all the way through?  Absolutely not.  The rules are the rules.  Nevertheless, it never hurts to ask.

The denial of a refund is no surprise.  What will likely keep me flying with Aer Lingus again, though, is the fact that it took 42 days to get a response.  This was after placing a phone call and being told the only way to handle the issue was via e-mail.  Thanks for nothing, Bridget.

An excellent question, BostonFlyer. Big Mike is working out some rights issues right now, so the pictures that aren't already in the system are on temporary hiatus. Sorry to disappoint.

That's really bad. Time for a credit card dispute.

I probably do have a shot at a card dispute, but for 15 Euro, and because I technically do not deserve the money back, I likely will not do it. The bank will give it back to me immediately, but it isn't worth my time to fill out the paperwork when Aer Lingus fights it, which they almost certainly will. Better to just not fly them again.
