If you're going to Amsterdam and you have no interest in the drug scene or paying for sex, don't worry, there's much more to this city than coffee shops, magic mushrooms, and Russian teenagers. This is how you can have a fun few days in Amsterdam without having to lie to your spouse about what you've been up to. Or even if you did do all the bad stuff, this is what you can say you did...
1) Anne Frank House- simply a must.

2) Van Gogh Museum- eye candy for the soul

3) Leidseplein- day or night this plaza is hopping

4) Rembrandtplein- another large plaza with food and drink options

5) WIndmill Brewery- the name says it all. The Heineken brewery is also near by

6) Ajax soccer game- here's the club site

7) Cafe Belgique- great bar with nearly 40 Belgian beers available and a great atmosphere

8) Erotic and Torture Museums (separate places, for most people)

9) Reypenaer Cheese Tasting Rooms- centrally located and bookings are appreciated

10) A city or countryside bike tour, like Mike's!

11) Paradiso- but just because you're sober doesn't mean the band will be. You could catch an amazing show or the worst ever. I've seen both.

12) and the tourists' comedic favorite, Boom Chicago

It's a very beautiful city and you can spend hours just walking around. Start with the inner canal and work your way out to the edge of the spider's web. Before you know it, the sun will be setting and you can eat at one of the many fantastic restaurants in the city, then maybe window shop in the Red Light District.
