Free booze! Free booze! Free booze!

Well... not "free." You still have to pay for the Admirals Club membership, or for the premium ticket that gets you access to the club.

But the point is, people visiting Admirals Clubs will no longer have to pay for well drinks, wine, and beer. (Passengers on international itineraries already got booze. Now everyone does.)

First of all, the only good things in that snack mix are the sesame sticks.

Second, the snack mix is so loaded with sodium that if you eat a cupful or two before your flight, you'll arrive at your destination with ankles the size of tree trunks. Third, I eat at least seven cupfuls of snack mix every time I visit an Admirals Club. Fourth, if you are lucky enough to be in an Admirals Club ...

Right now I'm an AAdvantage Platinum (PLT) member. In a few weeks, I'll be EXP (Executive Platinum, the highest level in American's program).

I am not currently a member of the Admirals Club, American's lounges. But I'm thinking about it. There are two issues here. First, is membership even worth it?
