Malaysia Airlines today rolled out their newest member of the family. Their VERY first A380 Jumbo Jet in special celebration livery, ahead of entry-into-service this Sunday (1 July 2012) on the Kuala Lumpur-London Heathrow route. The jumbo jet has the newest livery which will be the new look of Malaysia airlines as they join the OneWorld alliance later this year. The new livery for the A380 was first revealed in digitally mastered pictures in March of 2012, however this is the first thime the updated Livery has actually been seen on an actual airplane! This new livery of Malaysia Airline is just part of the updates that MH is bringing to their image as they continues to bring the world skytrax 5 star service operating from Kuala Lumpur.
MH Is currently reporting VERY high load factors for their A380 with loads ranging between 87 and 89% for their first 7 flights. Furthermore 1st class is 100% booked on the first 5 flights and Business class is showing load factors between 85 and 90% booked full, filling up a good 59 of the 64 seats each way! Business class tickets are selling between KUL and LHR from ~$5700 return and childless 1st class for a mere $8300! MH will increase the A380 between KUL and LHR to daily come August when the airline receives their second jumbo!
