Since we didn't have a work space in Lexington, we ended up using his room as our office and I must say I was quite impressed with the top floor suite and it's contemporary decor. A full review of the Griffin Gate and their normal ...

Virgin America New In-flight Safety Dance & 20% Off Flights

Air New Zealand watch out! Virgin America has teamed up with what I'd call America's best dance crew and created what I would say is the most creative in-flight safety video of 2013. Buckle Up To Get Down, the Pop and Lock, or the #VXSafetyDance attempts to grab passengers attention through sarcasm, rapping, break dancing, and gospel singing nuns. Be sure to check out the newest and oddest safety video of any U.S. carrier and to celebrate use promotion code GETDOWN to take 20% off ...

Air France Lounge Frankfurt Airport Schengen Flights

During a lengthy flight delay from Frankfurt to Rome on Alitalia I had plenty of time to kick back and relax in the Air France Lounge. The lounge is a decent size lounge for the few number of flights the Sky Team offers from Frankfurt to other schengen countries and offers plenty of room for travelers to relax before their flight. I ended up in the lounge for close to three hours, awaiting departure. The lounge is located directly next to the British Airways/Iberia lounge at the far end ...

Alitalia Business Class Frankfurt to Rome

After a fantastic five weeks traveling Europe, it was time to return to the states. I was traveling on a Delta award ticket and I had redeemed 100,000 miles to fly business class to and from Europe. My return flight was on Alitalia from Frankfurt via Rome and onwards to LAX. Upon arriving at Frankfurt, I found that my Alitalia flight departed from terminal 2 which is a good 10 minute walk & tram ride from the airport metro stop. After trekking for what seemed like miles (Star Alliance ...

TSA Precheck Expands to San Diego Despite Government Shutdown

Despite the government shutdown, I am happy to report that TSA is continuing to expand TSA Precheck across the country and has not paused the roll out of precheck in new airports during the partial shutdown. Last week, when I flew from San Diego on October 3rd (day 1 of the shutdown), the TSA agents told me that due to the shutdown all TSA training was halted and the launch of TSA Precheck in San Diego would be delayed due to the shutdown and lack of training. In spite of what I was ...
