Hilton 1Q Promo gives you upto 3 free nights, can be used Hilton Family wide

Today is the launch of Hilton Hotels 1Q promotion, and it is one of Hiltons biggest giveaways yet. Free nights at any Hilton Family hotels, including The Waldorf Collection. Just days before the number of points for a free night increases at Hilton they launch this free night give away.

Jeff Diskin (VP HH marketing) has promised a boatload of fantastic public promotions this year, and this is not a bad way to start.

Here is a quick run down of “A Night on Us”

1. All eligible stays from January 1 – March 31, 2010 will qualify for the offer regardless of when you register for the offer.
2. You do not have to book your stay during the offer period.
3. The January Sale & the Night on Us offers are combinable. The SRP code PR09SW for the Q1 Free Night offer was inadvertently included on the SRP exclusion list. Hilton is working with the appropriate parties to have this removed from the exclusion list.
4. Third party rates do not apply.
5. The hotels that are listed as non participating, are the only properties that you will not received promotional credit for. All other properties worldwide are participating.
6. Reward stays will not count towards this offer this quarter.

The certificate will be email or mailed to HH members and will be good for a free night at any Hilton Family hotel, even the hotels require a ton of points for a free night, the Waldorf Hotels. If you want to book lets say a 3 night free stay you will need to contact the call center to book that, or if you just want one free night you could book that online at Hilton.com

Over all not bad for Hilton and with the January sale stays counting toward this give away, it is a good time to take a look at Hilton. The Jan sale is around 33% North American B&B pre pay rates, and 50% off rates in Europe Africa and Asia , pre pay with Breakfast.. Book and pay in Jan for any weekend in 2010 for this deal. I have booked a list of Hotels in Europe for around 65 euro a night for 2..

Good job Hilton, but still shame on you for bumping up the reward point rates this year.

The big question is why wait till Jan 7 2010 to give us any real details?
